The Holiday Season Homeware Gift Guide

November is in full swing, with Thanksgiving, Christmas & NYE right around the corner, I thought it best to collect a few of my favourite items that would be perfect gifts for all tastes, and ages. This gift guide is aimed at all, a little something for everyone if you will.

Marble & Copper Condiment Set

This condiment set is great, not only does it look pretty, but it also serves as a function for every household and cuisine.

Three-set Copper Planters

This plant holder is the perfect addition to any room. You could also customize the plant before you give it away which is always a plus.

Oatmeal Duffield Throw from UGG Homeware

If you read my previous post,  you would know that I am swooning over the fact UGG does homeware now. This throw is luxuriously soft and is the perfect gift for a cosy night in.

Gilded Monogram Glass

Customizable and wonderfully crafted, this monogram glass is great as a family gift, personalizing each member with a glass of their own.

Mother of Pearl Square Wall Mirror

A little more pricey but totally worthwhile, this is a gift for somebody who has recently moved perhaps or if you know there space as well as they do.

Natural Softened Linen Pillowcase

Last but not least this beautifully handmade crafted pillow case is minimal, timeless and such a great gift. Nobody can have too many pillows in my opinion.

UGG Australia Home Furnishings?

So who knew UGG Australia did Homeware? The winter tycoons known for their soft, fuzzy and furry shoe collection have now brought their cosy attire to dress homes. Their collection of soft furnishings from rugs, to pillows to throws and blankets, speaks to the cold wintery days such as these. When the weather is cold outside, what more do you need than a pair of UGG slippers to warm your feet, and maybe a throw, cushion and rug to go alongside? From their flagship store in Sydney, here is just some of the range on offer. Go grab a cup of hot tea.

Velvet Suede Revolution

Whether it’s on the runway from fashion week or on the high street, velvet and suede has officially made its comeback into the design world. Interior design is catching up on the retro design craze that is taking the world by a storm. How do you incorporate it without going too OTT? Look no further, from accessories to furniture pieces, I’ve got you covered.

Fairy Light Decor

Fairy lights are big this time of year. Whether you’re feeling festive or not, this statement way of decorating the home is instantly warming and heartfelt. You can just see the homes along the streets lit up from within which is always a comfortable feeling as the days grow shorter and gloomier. I wanted to showcase a few ideas of how to use them in a way that can accentuate your spaces and pieces, illuminating them, literally.

Wrapping your lights around plants and twigs create a rustic look to the space, and giving the lights an almost free spirit in the way they are assembled according to nature.

Framing your windows would be the obvious choice, however you could try framing absolutely anything. How about mirrors, staircases or even cabinets. Pick the most dainty lights you can find for this one.

A lot of people like to go all out with their balcony/garden lighting, keep it simple and incorporate different elements along with the lights, lanterns, plants and other objects perfectly complement them.

Trapping the lights in terrariums and lanterns are  great for if you want to keep it subtle. There are endless options of this technique which I love.

Are you feeling festive yet?
