The iconic whimsical designs of Kate Spade have transferred to home furnishings. Launching spring 2016, an initial line up of her designs will be released. Deborah Lloyd, president and creative director of Kate Spade NY says the about line’s inspiration, “I imagine these people in the homes of Karlie Kloss, Iris Apfel and Audrey Hepburn…”

Although these beautiful items come with a hefty price tag, items such as the bright pink Drake slipper chair at just over $2500. Or even the aquamarine Drake tufted sofa at $5950. Not surprisingly, these prices are part of the branding of Kate Spade and whether or not I would purchase these items if I had the budget for it is another story. Playful yet timeless, I see many dupes of these signature hand-curated pieces in budget-friendly stores soon.
