Palette of the Week #5

As winter draws ever so colder, I thought it passing to choose a palette this sunday that represents the northern hemisphere weather. As you are reading this, I am actually in the southern hemisphere basking in the sun, bliss.

Muted Pastels is the cooler more crisp sibling of the much loved spring pastels. Unlike the pastels we all know, these have been mixed with grey for a more paired down, reliable and safe colour palette. By ‘safe’ I mean it provides longevity from winter to the summer months, suits all tastes and isn’t overbearing like some pastels can be. As shown here these soft & calm colors can be incorporated in a variety of ways. From wall art, to a slick of paint on the desired wall or even just a throw and a couple of cushions. I love the soothing essence it brings to the space.

Why not try it out this winter?
