I was once told by a teacher in my Summer school course at CSM London that she ”hated with passion” the word vintage and the word retro. Now I hate the word ‘retro’ too, but vintage to me can mean something different to everyone. In my eyes it is something nostalgic, something that can provoke a memory or a past time that makes you content, and warm inside. When it comes to interior design, it can get a bit lost in translation. This is my type of vintage, from me to you and how you can shop the look if it makes you warm and fuzzy inside.
