Browsing through hotel room after hotel room, searching for the right one can be daunting. Nowadays hotel rooms are one of two, either pretty standard with a plain room containing all the necessary items placed where you would mostly find them, or the other option being an extreme design set to stand out from the crowd and bring in new travelers looking for a unique experience. When booking for our upcoming summer holiday, I was baffled at how much hotel rooms look alike and how monotonous they can be. Seeking something new, I wanted to highlight and give credit to some of the hotels out there that have based their designs on creating a ‘home away from home’ so to speak. This is paramount for anyone looking for a more family-friendly environment, or perhaps somebody who is looking to stay for a longer period of time and needs the extra push to click the book button.
