April Favourites

Untitled-1

My favourites this month are a variety of things from beauty to lifestyle to homeware. I like to think of my monthy favourites as a documentation of my tastes that I can look back on years later and see how trends, and my likes have evolved. This month there were so many things I have been coveting that I had to whittle them down to a select few-the ultimate favourites if you wish.

First up is the Fendi Micro Peekaboo pink leather grab bag I have seen many images of these all over instagram and social media and although not at all my style or even practical enough to fit a mum of a toddlers bits and bobs, the fact that it looks so incredibly chic is why I have my eyes set on it.

Gold leaf is also my current obsession. Anything gold leaf related I am like hawk, eyeing it all over and I make a dash for it in stores. Although I haven’t yet purchased anything gold leaf related I am really enjoying Tom Dixon’s Gold Leaf Plate Set.

One of my favourite recipe books is Deliciously Ella by Ella Woodward, I think I have recreated all of her recipes with no fail- they are all absolutely scrumptious! I gave a little squeal when she finally brought out an app filled with so many more great recipes that are simple, vegan and bursting with flavour. YOU HAVE TO GET THIS APP.

Sticking on the topic of books, I recently finished reading The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins. I am not usually one to read books that have been hugely hyped up but this one just caught my attention somehow. The mystery aspect of it maybe (I love a good mystery) but it was honestly the first book after the Harry Potter series that I just couldn’t put down. I read it in 4 days.

I wish an Oliver Bonas store was near me. Their store in London is by far one of my favourite places to visit and with its very trend-aware items and affordable prices it is a designers dream. This Copper Pineapple Ice Bucket is one of a few things I would like to put on my garden party table.

Last but certainly not least is one of my favourite bloggers of all time. Victoria from InTheFrow has an eye for style, an exquisite taste of luxury items and one of my most dangerous enablers when it comes to fashion & lifestyle. Her travel photos are beautiful, just check out the travel section her blog, this girl is magic!
